Our Story

We Got Tired of Software That Wasn't Built for Us

NexusRMS started in 2024 as a set of internal tools for our own rental company—we were sick of paying for multiple SaaS subscriptions that didn't talk to each other. Then we decided to turn it into the full rental management platform we always wished existed.

Community First

We're not building in a vacuum. Our roadmap is public. Our forum is open. If you've got an idea, we want to hear it.

Most software companies build what they think you need. We'd rather build what you tell us you need. That's why beta users get direct input on what gets built next.

Built to Actually Use

Every feature gets tested on real jobs. If it's clunky on a phone at a festival site, it gets rebuilt.

We're not enterprise software people making rental tools. We're rental people who learned to code. There's a difference, and you'll feel it.

The Problems That Pushed Us Over the Edge

Each of these happened to us. Probably to you too.

The Phone Problem

Standing in a warehouse, phone in hand, and the software only works on a laptop. Every. Single. Time.

Our Solution:

Full app on your phone. Same features. Works offline. Not a "mobile view"—the real thing.

The Festival Problem

No signal at the venue. Can't check anything in. Scribble on paper, type it up later, hope you remember.

Our Solution:

Works offline. Scan, log, move on. It syncs when you get back to civilisation.

The Pricing Problem

Per-user pricing. £20/month per crew member. Suddenly your "affordable" software costs more than rent.

Our Solution:

£49/month (ex. VAT) to start. Unlimited free sub-users. Only admins cost extra.

The Xero Problem

Create invoice in rental system. Re-type invoice in Xero. Chase payment in spreadsheet. Repeat forever.

Our Solution:

Direct sync with Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, Wave. Create once, appears everywhere.

The Timesheet Problem

"I definitely started at 8am." "No you didn't." Paper timesheets. Disputes. Payroll headaches.

Our Solution:

GPS-verified clock in/out. Timestamped. Located. No arguments.

The "Working Alone" Problem

Stuck on something. No documentation. Support ticket takes 3 days. Figure it out yourself or give up.

Our Solution:

Community forum. Ask a question, get answers from people who actually use it. Plus a public roadmap you can vote on.

How We Work

Not corporate values. Just how we actually operate.

We Use It Too

If we wouldn't use a feature ourselves, we don't ship it. Simple as that.

Ship Weekly

Small updates, often. You'll see improvements every week, not every quarter.

Public Roadmap

See what's coming. Vote on priorities. Know you're being heard.

Real Replies

How We Got Here

The short version

Built for Our Own Company
2024

Mike was running a rental company and paying for too many SaaS tools that didn't talk to each other. Started building internal tools to replace them all—one system instead of five.

Mike & Jack Go All In
Early 2025

Jack saw what Mike had built and said "this should be a proper product." Together they decided to turn the internal tools into a full rental management platform—not just bolt-ons, the whole thing.

12 Months of Building
2025

Heads down, building. 550+ models, 43 dashboard widgets, full mobile PWA, offline mode, community forum. All the things we wished existed.

That's now. We're looking for rental companies who want to shape what this becomes. Warts and all.

Who's Behind This

Two people. No investors. No corporate overlords.
